Yes! Once you are up and running on the app, you can invite other family members to SentryTell so they can use the app as well.
The SentryTell app is designed to let you monitor as many seniors as you need. Each senior requires a separate SentryTell Core Pack and monthly service. You can then easily select which senior you want to see with the convenient drop down box in the app.
Yes! SentryTell uses the latest in encrypted technology to keep your data secure. Our servers are powered by Amazon Web Services, the same secure services used by many Fortune 500 companies worldwide.
Most pets 30 pounds and under will not affect the motion sensors provided the sensors are placed at a height of 6' to 7' from the floor.
Yes, the SentryTell hub sends secure activity information to our servers through our hub. Just connect the hub to their internet and you are up and running
We configure your SentryTell system so it's ready to use as soon as you receive it! Just plug the hub into your senior's internet router, attach the sensors where you want them (no tools required!) and you are ready to be a lot better informed about your senior's activity.
Place motion sensors in a room at a height of 6' to 7' from the floor. They will pick up motion up to 20' away from the sensor. You just want the sensor to capture motion for the room you are placing the sensor in, so you'll need to consider that when placing the motion sensor on the wall (don't point it at a doorway or hallway).
For most homes, the two sided tape supplied with the sensor will work perfectly. If you need a more secure mount, we also supply two small screws to attach the sensor to the wall.
Place door sensors at the top of the door frame, on the same side where the door handle is. The larger piece of the sensor is mounted on the door frame and the smaller piece is mounted on the door. The two pieces must be within 1/4" of each other when the door is closed. You can test the door sensor to be sure it is installed correctly by watching for the red light to flash on the sensor when the door is opened or closed.

Check the SentryTell hub. You should see one solid green light on the hub, which tell you it is connected to our systems. If you see a red light, unplug the hub for 15 seconds and plug it back in. Wait 5-10 minutes for the hub to reset. The lights on the hub should turn solid green.

The two parts to the door sensor need to be within 1/4" of each other when the door is closed. Make sure the embossed lines on the two pieces of the sensor are facing towards each other. You can test the sensor to be sure it's working by opening or closing the door and making sure the small red light on the sensor flashes. That tells you it is connected properly.
SentryTell uses a 14 day rolling average of activity in the home as a baseline to analyze today's activity. The system will get smarter and smarter each day as more data is available to determine "normal" activity in the home.
